Town Planner - Remote Working
Location: Fully Remote (UK-Based)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded planning consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering expert planning advice across a diverse range of development projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a motivated and ambitious Town Planner to join their expanding team on a fully remote basis.

The Role
As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in supporting clients through the planning process, providing strategic advice, preparing planning applications, and engaging with key stakeholders to secure successful outcomes.
You will work across a broad spectrum of developments, gaining exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land projects.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and managing planning applications from inception through to determination.
Producing planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation.
Undertaking site appraisals and planning research.
Liaising with local authorities, consultees, and stakeholders.
Providing planning advice to a diverse client base.
Monitoring planning policy changes and legislative updates.
Supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex projects.
Attending meetings, hearings, and public consultations where required.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
MRTPI status or working towards chartership.
Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or development environment.
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong report-writing and project management abilities.
The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A proactive and commercially minded approach.
