Owen Daniels are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer supplying precision-engineered components to major global OEMs, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically minded Manufacturing Engineer to work within a highly regulated aerospace environment, supporting both new product introduction and continuous improvement activities across production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and PFMEAs
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from concept through to production
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and efficiency
Liaise closely with design, quality, production, and supply chain teams
Investigate and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues
Support lean manufacturing and root cause analysis activities
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with aerospace quality standards and customer requirementsCandidate Requirements:
Proven experience within a Manufacturing Engineer position in the aerospace sector
Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, or fabrication processes
Experience working within AS9100 or similarly regulated environments
Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Experience with process validation, tooling, and production support
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering preferredWhat’s on Offer:
