Working: The role offers flexible working but does require engineers on site for typically 4 days per week and is a on secure site where SC clearance is needed.

We have a number of exciting opportunities for various levels of experienced Systems Engineers to join a growing team in Radio Frequency (RF) technologies. You'll be performing activities including algorithm development and systems studies. This is an exceptional chance to be part of multiple programmes, and contribute to the development of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and highly integrated multi-mode sensors.

As part of the role, you will be involved in a number of activities including many of the following:

Develop algorithms and ensure they are fit for purpose
Conduct studies to identify any enhancements and propose future improvements
Collaborate with individuals from various areas of expertise
Integrate algorithms within complex Seeker models
Undertake system studies and performance analysis
Foster innovation, including the use of agile methods, process improvements, and machine learning/AI in our products

Essential experience:

Algorithm development
MATLAB Experience
Identification, Planning and Running of investigations to inform systems design
Data analysis

Desirable experience, but not essential:

Modelling and coding (Simulink)
Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
Experience in forming hypotheses and creating the method to prove them.
Technical report writing
Machine Learning and AI
