We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Inspector to join our client, a busy engineering and manufacturing company based in Witney.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and managing calibration activities.
What You'll Do
. Inspect incoming materials and assemblies against drawings and specs.
. Raise and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
. Carry out patrol inspections across Production and Assembly areas.
. Manage calibration of all measurement equipment.
. Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean).
What We're Looking For
. Experience in manufacturing or inspection environments.
. Knowledge of quality procedures including current ISO Standards
. Skilled with metrology tools (callipers, micrometres, height gauges, pin gauges).
. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
. Strong IT and administrative skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
. Detail-oriented, proactive, and a great team player.
Desirable:
. ERP experience (SAP) CMM/Shadowgraph exposure
. knowledge of hydraulics
. UK driving licence
