Job: Laser Cutter

Shift: Night Shift
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Cutting Machinist to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials safely
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards
Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties
Working efficiently to meet production schedules and targets

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery is essential
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Flexible and reliable approach to work
