Our client, a reputable family-run dealership in Wilmslow, Cheshire, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their career within a long-established business committed to quality service and employee growth.
Location: Wilmslow
Salary: Basic £36,000 (additional earnings for highly skilled and experienced technicians)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; every 3rd Saturday morningBenefits:
Competitive basic salary of £36,000 per annum, with increased pay for highly experienced technicians
28 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
Enrolment onto Ford’s dedicated training pathway, supporting continuous professional development to Master Tech level and beyond
Flexible start and finish times to accommodate personal commitments
Supportive management dedicated to staff training and career progression

Opportunities for career advancement through comprehensive training programmesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer and quality standards
Complete accurate job documentation and work reports in line with dealership procedures
Follow health and safety protocols at all times
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when needed
Contribute to the growth and profitability of the Service and Repair department
Maintain and manage own set of tools and technical equipmentRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with relevant industry experience
Previous experience working on Ford vehicles preferred, but not essential
Possesses own tools and necessary technical qualifications
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
Enthusiastic about ongoing training and professional development
