Location: Macclesfield - Mainly office based with early finish on a Friday
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits
KO2's client, an innovative technology business based in Macclesfield, is looking to add an Electronics Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge electronic products in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you'll be involved in the full product lifecycle - from concept and design through to testing, validation, and production support. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable electronic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits
PCB design and schematic capture
Prototype build, testing, and debugging
Support transition from development to manufacture
Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation
Ensure designs meet relevant compliance and regulatory standardsSkills & Experience Required
Degree in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline)
Experience with analogue and digital circuit design
PCB layout and schematic capture experience (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad or similar)
Embedded C programming
Embedded systems knowledge - FreeRTOS, STM32 (desirable)
Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers
Understanding of EMC and regulatory compliance (advantageous)This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Electronics Engineer who enjoys problem-solving and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
