Hays are working with a well-established and reputable company to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to join a stable business within a supportive and professional office environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and payroll function, ensuring all financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with payroll processing
Maintaining accurate financial records
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Supporting month-end duties
Handling finance-related queries
Producing reports and updating financial information using Excel and Sage Line 50
Ensuring all finance administration is accurate and up to date
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will be:
Highly detail-oriented and organised
Knowledgeable and experienced within accounts and payroll
IT proficient, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Sage Line 50
Able to manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines
A proactive and reliable team player with strong communication skills
Ideally, candidates will:
Hold an AAT qualification, or
Be Qualified by Experience (QBE)
