As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Payroll Administrator / Payroll Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Payroll & Credit Control Manager, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for a large contractor workforce.
The Role
You'll play a key part in supporting the weekly payroll process, ensuring contractors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining high levels of compliance and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Processing weekly payroll for temporary workers and contractors
* Checking and validating timesheets
* Supporting invoice generation and payroll reporting
* Working closely with recruitment teams
* Maintaining accurate payroll records and databases
* Supporting credit control and finance administration when required
* Ensuring payroll deadlines are consistently met
What We're Looking For
* Previous payroll, finance administration or accounts experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills
* Comfortable working to weekly deadlines
* Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Confident communicator with a professional manner
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Experience within recruitment payroll would be advantageous but not essential
