Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: Temp to perm/ ongoing contract
Pay Rate: DOE
Shift: Days and nights
A great opportunity has arisen within the Electrical Department of a well-established vehicle manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.
The Role:
Reporting to the Electrical Workshop Manager, you will be involved in the build and assembly of high-quality, in-house designed trailer chassis, decks, and associated components. This is a varied role working on low-volume, high-specification vehicles for major blue-chip clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial trailers
Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of vehicle electrical systems
Working from technical drawings and wiring schematics
Assisting in the assembly of bespoke trailer components
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environmentSkills & Experience Required:
Strong understanding of auto electrical systems
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Competent in the use of hand and air tools
Good mechanical knowledge
Flexible and adaptable approach
Able to work independently and as part of a team
High standards of quality and workmanship
Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities
