We are currently supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Haringey in their search for an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will foster creativity, develop practical skills, and encourage students to apply innovative thinking through hands-on learning experiences.
The Role
Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and practical lessons.
Assess, monitor, and support student progress and achievement.
Create a positive and well-managed learning environment.
Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the department.
Uphold safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of all students. The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching DT within a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is passionate about inspiring young people through practical learning.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
