Our client is an established main contractor that has been operating in London and the Southeast for over 15 years.

Located in East London, they deliver projects in the leisure, education, retail, healthcare, and housing sectors and have built a strong reputation for completing projects on time with maximum client satisfaction.

The work with both private and public sector clients and deliver a range of new build and refurbishment projects.

Project Sizes typically range between £500,000 & £20 million but they have delivered schemes of larger values.

Design Manager

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Architect looking to move into a Design Manager role to work on a range of projects with values typically between £5 & £30 Million.

As the Design Manager you will play an important role in the successful execution of these projects.

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, contractors, and clients, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept to completion.

We are interested in Architects, Engineer and Building Control Professional that are looking to take the next step in their career and move into a Design Management role with a main contractor.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Lead the design team through various project phases, including design development, space planning, material selection, and FF&E specifications.

* Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure design plans are aligned with project budgets, timelines, and scope.

* Translate client requirements into innovative design concepts that reflect their brand identity and functional needs.

* Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to gather necessary information for accurate design proposals.

* Foster effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of information throughout the project lifecycle.

* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to consistently deliver cutting-edge solutions
