Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

The Role
We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a new 4-bed children’s home in Gloucester. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive and achieve their full potential.
You will lead and inspire a stable team, maintain high standards of care, ensure safeguarding remains paramount, and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the opening and day-to-day operation of a new children’s home.
* Ensure outstanding safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
* Develop and motivate a high-performing care team.
* Promote positive outcomes and advocate for young people.
* Maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement.
* Build strong relationships with professionals, families and stakeholders.
Requirements
✔ Previous experience managing or deputising within a children's residential setting.
✔ Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices.
✔ Proven experience supporting vulnerable children and young people.
✔ QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services (or willingness to commence within six months).
✔ Positive, hands-on and child-centred leadership style.
