HGV Class 1 Drivers (Days/Nights/Weekends)

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class C+E drivers on Day’s, Night, ADHOC, Full weeks & weekends We can be very Flexible. These Vacancies are to work out of a National Distribution Centre situated in Sheffield (Shepcote Lane), South Yorkshire. This is Working on behalf of our client who specialise in the logistics industry and are global leaders in this field. Drivers will transport products to RDCs throughout the home counties.

Duties will include:

Trunking between depot and RDCs.
Can Entail a back load.
A safety-first approach to driving and ensuring loads are safely secured.
Completing daily delivery paperwork and logbooks.
Carry Products such as Sweets & Electric goods.
Monday to Sunday Days: Starts Between 04:00-07:00
Monday to Sunday Nights: Starts Between 16:00-20:00
Immediate starts available

Fully paid induction and driving assessment paid upon a successful pass

Skills & Experience:

Must have experience in curtain sider work.
Must be able to solve issues if aby to your best ability.
Always Supervising your load.
Making sure loads are safely secured.
Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks.
Drivers Skills and experience:

Hold a LGV C+E licence with a minimum of 1yrs experience
A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD’s, DR’s or IN10s.
Drivers will be paid the following on agency on PAYE (accrued Holidays on top)

Monday to Friday Days: £16.00ph based on a guaranteed 8hrs pay
Monday to Friday Nights: £17.00ph based on a guaranteed 8hrs pay
Saturday All Hours: £17.00ph based on a guaranteed 8hrs pay
Sunday All Hours: £18.00ph based on a guaranteed 8hrs pay
All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.
