We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Technical Sales Manager to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business. This is a customer-facing role focused on developing new business opportunities, growing key accounts, and providing technical support to customers across a range of industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will combine strong sales skills with technical understanding, building long-term customer relationships and delivering solutions that meet both customer and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities as a Sales Manager
Develop and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Manage a portfolio of key accounts, creating and implementing account development plans.
Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
Monitor market activity, customer trends, and competitor developments to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer records using CRM systems.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service and successful project delivery.
Support pricing, quotation, and negotiation activities while maintaining profitable growth.About You
Proven track record in B2B technical sales within engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
Experience in business development and account management.
Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
Ability to understand technical products, drawings, specifications, or engineering applications.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and capable of managing a territory independently.
