Days/hours: Full time (Mon – Fri 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Location: Cardiff
Pay: £92.63-95 a day
Teaching personnel is working in partnership with a number of schools within Cardiff for teaching assistants to join these lovely schools.
We are looking for someone who is keen to make a positive difference and wants to be a part of a bigger community. You will be expected to work closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe a positive environment for pupils to develop and learn.
Expectations
Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance learning and engagement.
Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Promote the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils.
Foster positive relationships with pupils and staff
About the candidate
Ideally you will have;
Child based experience, whether that’s in a classroom setting or similar
Strong communication skills
A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative
What you will need
An enhanced child DBS, on the update service
A live EWC registration
