The Role
Working alongside the Site Manager and Senior Site Management team, you will assist in the day-to-day delivery of a large residential development in Swindon.
You will help coordinate subcontractors, manage site activities, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure homes are delivered to programme and quality expectations. This role offers genuine long-term career progression for an ambitious construction professional looking to develop within a leading housebuilder.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations.
Support the delivery of housing units in line with programme requirements.
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and deliveries.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Carry out quality inspections and assist with snagging and handover processes.
Monitor progress against programme targets and support production meetings.
Ensure site records and documentation are maintained accurately.
Work closely with technical, commercial, and customer care teams.
Promote a positive site culture focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction.
Experience delivering housing developments, residential schemes, or mixed-use projects.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme performance.
Passionate about quality, health and safety, and customer satisfaction.
