Artwork Delivery Manager - Packaging
Location: Bradford (Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 home)
Salary: DOE

Role: The Artwork Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the Artwork Production team, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality packaging artwork and production services. The role combines operational leadership with a strong focus on innovation, workflow automation, AI-enabled production, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Client Services and cross-functional teams, the Artwork Delivery Manager will ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with client expectations while driving operational excellence and future-focused studio development
* Lead the day-to-day running of the Packaging team – Artwork & QC
* Manage workflow, resources, scheduling, and studio capacity to meet delivery targets
* Oversee production priorities and attend daily production meetings
* Manage and develop relationships with offshore production partners
* Monitor quality, consistency, and compliance across all studio output
* Identify and resolve operational risks, bottlenecks, and workflow issues
* Drive the adoption of automation, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging production technologies
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and speed
* Support the development of smarter workflows, proofing systems, asset management, and quality control processes
* Stay informed on industry trends, packaging technologies, and AI developments
* Work closely with Client Services to ensure effective communication and delivery of client requirements
* Provide technical and operational support for planning, issue resolution, and escalations
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, production partners, and clients
* Participate in client meetings where operational expertise is required
* Review and improve studio workflows, systems, and SOPs
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing studio team
* Foster a collaborative, positive, and inclusive working environment
* Support the ongoing training and development of our offshore production resource
* Support training and development, particularly in technology and AI-enabled workflows
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing a packaging artwork or production studio
* Comfortable leading teams through operational change, evolving workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment
* Strong knowledge of packaging workflows, print production, colour management, and artwork systems
* Good understanding of packaging artwork, repro, print processes
* Experience with workflow automation, digital transformation, or AI-enabled production tools
* Strong technical understanding of industry-standard production software and workflow systems
* Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to lead teams through operational and technological change
* Commercial awareness with a strong client service focus
* Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
