Salary: £35,235 – £39,513 per annum + ( £5,000 market rate supplement + £10,000 welcome payment (subject to guidance) + full benefits package)

Herefordshire County Council are looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Safeguarding and Support Team. Undertake child and family assessments, identifying needs and risks in line with statutory guidance

Prepare and present reports for court proceedings and multi-agency meetings
Work in partnership with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies
Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory duties
Requirements:
SWE Registration
Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
Post-qualified experience in safeguarding/child protection work
Strong assessment, planning and risk management skills
Experience of working within a multi-agency setting and attending court
A proactive, child-centred approach with resilience and flexibility
