The Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, leading a team of engineers, and driving continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and delivering planned maintenance activities while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of 4 Maintenance Engineers
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities across the site
Drive continuous improvement and TPM initiatives
Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules are completed
Support reactive maintenance and breakdown response activities
Manage maintenance records and spare parts inventory
Carry out condition-based monitoring activities
Perform plant isolation and permit-to-work procedures safely
Support maintenance of automated production equipment and material handling systems
Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards
Work closely with production teams to maximise plant performance and uptime
Candidate Requirements
Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience within a manufacturing, production, automation, FMCG, logistics, or industrial environment
Previous supervisory, team leader, or senior engineering experience desirable
Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Experience with automated machinery, conveyors, material handling equipment, or production systems
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
