Aztrum is working with a growing IT solutions provider in the Uxbridge area that is looking to add a driven Sales Development Representative to its commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially minded, and looking to build a long-term career in IT sales. You’ll be joining a supportive team where you’ll receive training, guidance, and the chance to progress into account management, business development, or more senior sales roles over time.

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting the wider sales team with prospecting activity. This is a key front-end sales role, focused on identifying potential clients, opening conversations, and booking qualified meetings.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in:

Researching and identifying potential new business opportunities across target markets
Making outbound calls, sending emails, and using LinkedIn to engage with prospects
Qualifying leads and understanding potential client requirements
Booking meetings and appointments for senior sales colleagues
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers
Updating the CRM with accurate notes, activity, and follow-up actions
Working closely with account managers and business development managers to support sales campaigns
Learning about IT services, managed services, cloud solutions, cyber security, and wider technology offerings
Representing the business professionally and creating a positive first impression with potential clients

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in sales, telesales, lead generation, recruitment, customer service, or a similar target-driven role
A confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
A proactive, resilient, and motivated approach
The ability to build rapport quickly with prospects
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
An interest in technology, IT services, or B2B sales
A desire to progress within a commercial sales environmentPrevious IT sales experience would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential if you have the right attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.
