Fish Filleter- The Details
Competitive salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience
Staff discount on fresh fish, seafood, and speciality food products
Opportunity to further develop specialist seafood preparation skills within a quality-focused independent business
Supportive and skilled team environment Fish Filleter - Responsibilities & Requirements
Proven experience as a Fish Filleter or Fishmonger
Buying experience desirable but not essential
Filleting, skinning, pin-boning and portioning a wide range of fresh fish
Fast, accurate knife skills with an eye for quality and presentation
Scaling and preparing whole fish for display and sale
Peeling and deveining prawns and langoustines
A solid understanding of food hygiene requirements, food hygiene certificate desirable however training can be provided
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, chilled environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must About Us
