Systems Engineer - Training Solutions

Help Shape the Future of Training Technology

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Systems Engineer to support the delivery of complex training technologies and integrated system solutions within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a systems engineering or training technology background who enjoys solving technical challenges, working across multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to cutting-edge simulation and synthetic training capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design, integration, and delivery of complex training systems and technologies.
Define technical requirements and produce design documentation.
Work with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful system integration.
Contribute to system testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment activities.
Support technical assurance, operational procedures, and documentation management.
Assist with continuous improvement of systems, processes, and operational performance.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive team culture.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience working within a systems engineering environment.
Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and V-model lifecycles.
Experience writing system requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation.
Understanding of system integration and technical delivery.
Experience using Jira and Confluence.
Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)

Desirable

Experience with simulation or synthetic training environments.
Knowledge of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) systems.
Awareness of TOGAF, NAFv4, DIS, HLA, or SISO frameworks.
Experience working with external suppliers and integrated technical solutions.
Understanding of interoperability and defence-style integration environments.
