Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (CHP / Energy Centre)
Salary £40k-£44k (Employed) + Overtime (OTE £47k-£49k) + Benefits
Location - Woking, Surrey Based
We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading provider of services to the CHP (Combined Heat and Power), Power Generation and District Energy sector.
What's on Offer
Basic Salary up to £40k-£44k (subject to experience)
Additional overtime / call out - potential of £4k-£5k extra
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + option for additional holiday purchase

Job Summary
Site based in Woking
Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain mechanical plant and associated equipment within CHP energy centres and district energy networks
Service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, diesel generators, and CHP units
Fully Employed - Monday to Friday - 40hrs - 7:30am-4pm as standard
What We Are Looking For
Qualified and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer, holding relevant mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard, relevant apprenticeship / qualification in mechanical engineering
Desirable but not essential - CHP (combined heat & power) or generator experience
Ideally experience in maintenance & repair of things like commercial pumps, pipework, motors, valves, belts, conveyors etc
Ex Royal Navy / Marine Engineering type backgrounds also considered
