Location: Preston
Salary: £50,000
Holidays: 23.5 days a year (rising to 28.5 over 5 years)
Shifts: Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2/10)

Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Preston? Ideally Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG and will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Daily Duties:
Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
Quickly diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Collaborate with the engineering team to drive improvements that enhance machine performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards at all times
Accurately document all maintenance work and ensure records are kept up to date
Provide support for capital projects, new installations, and equipment upgrades as required
Ideal Candidate:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Ideally apprentice trained
Experience with electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repair - FMCG/food manufacturing
Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
