The Role - Sports Teaching Assistant
Seeking an energetic and motivated Sports Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a PRU setting. You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, using sport and physical activity to encourage engagement, teamwork and positive behaviour. The role involves supporting PE lessons, leading small-group activities, assisting with classroom learning and helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and social skills within a structured environment.
The School - Sports Teaching Assistant
This pupil referral unit is located in the London Borough of Southwark and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The provision supports pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, offering personalised learning, strong pastoral support and tailored interventions to help pupils achieve positive outcomes.
