Main Purpose of the Role

As a Workshop Operative, you will work within our busy workshop environment to maintain, service, and repair Conquip OEM equipment efficiently. You will play a key role in upholding safety, quality, and operational standards throughout our hire fleet.

Key Responsibilities️

Carry out repairs, servicing, and setup of Conquip OEM equipment, primarily non-mechanical plant and machinery
Undertake basic welding (MIG) tasks as required
Spray paint equipment when necessary
Complete computer-based tasks, including certification and documentation
Follow daily work schedules set by the line manager
Operate counterbalance forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment and sign off in accordance with LOLER regulations
Maintain a professional and courteous approach when liaising with colleagues and site personnel
Adopt a flexible attitude towards working hours when required
Support the wider team with additional tasks as needed

Good planning and organisational skills
Access to a vehicle & your own transport is vital to access our manufacturing site
