Salary: £34,000 Basic | OTE: £60,000+
Location: Tring
Hours: Full Time
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in Tring. This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training and the opportunity to work with modern vehicles in a well-equipped workshop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards while contributing to workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
* Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
* Performing warranty and recall work in line with manufacturer standards
* Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately
* Maintaining detailed job records and workshop documentation
* Working collaboratively with the Service and Parts departments
* Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
About You
* Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
* Previous experience within a dealership or independent workshop
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* MOT licence advantageous but not essential
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Full UK driving licence
