Warehouse Operations Apprentice

Murray Plate are one of the UK’s largest steel plate stockholders, with a wide selection of steel grades in stock. The product range is backed by an established sales office network and logistical set-up that ensures swift delivery anywhere in the UK and to export customers.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

40 hours a week

Start date -TBC

What you’ll do at work

Day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to the following:

* Picking Plate orders

* Cutting plate by flame cut Pod

* Operating overhead cranes

* Unloading/Loading trailers

* General warehousing

* Diligence with all warehouse paperwork

* Inputting Warehouse production data

* Stock checking

* Driving a fork truck/side loader/HGV Shunter

* Following and maintaining health & safety procedures and Teamwork, problem solving and attention to detail
