SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting an SEN teaching assistant to support primary-aged pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour. The school is located in Dagenham.

As a teaching assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with a diagnosis of Autism.

As a teaching assistant applying for this role, you will:

Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support emotional regulation.
Adapt class work to suit individual needs and ability.
Deliver targeted interventions.
Assist pupils with navigating social elements of schools and promote friendships.
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support.About you:

Must have previous experience supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.
Be confident with behaviour management strategies.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Be patient, resilient, and able to use initiative.
