Materials Planner (FMCG Manufacturer)
Location: London

A growing food business is looking for a Materials Planner to join its Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are available to meet production requirements while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule material requirements in line with forecasts and operational demand.
* Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability.
* Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring supplier lead times are met.
* Identify and escalate potential supply risks and shortages.
* Maintain accurate planning data within SAP and MRP systems.
* Support supplier performance reviews and build strong supplier relationships.
* Produce reports and analysis to support planning and operational decisions.
* Contribute to achieving key service and inventory KPIs.
Requirements
* Experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or a similar role.
* SAP experience is essential.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
* Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
