About the Role and Key Responsibilities

TailorEDucation is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher for a one-year maternity cover position at a supportive secondary school in the Medway area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to join a successful department and inspire students across both GCSE and A Level Psychology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Psychology lessons to GCSE and A Level students

• Preparing schemes of work, lesson resources, and assessments

• Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively

• Creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment

• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate
