Tooling & Assembly Technician
Location: Nottinghamshire (On-site)
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000
The Role
Hands-on role focused on assembly, preparation and inspection of precision tooling used in automated manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble precision tooling
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections
Ensure tooling meets specification
Maintain documentation and traceability
Report non-conformances (NCR)
Manage tooling lifecycle (build, use, rework)Requirements
Precision assembly or tooling experience
Manufacturing/engineering background
Inspection/quality experience
Ability to read drawings/specs
We’re particularly interested in candidates from precision manufacturing and engineering environments, including those currently working as Tooling Technicians, Assembly Technicians, Manufacturing Technicians, Mechanical Technicians or Quality Inspectors.
