Security Architect (DV & NPPV3 active) - £650/day Inside IR35 - 12 Month Contract - Home Based - SCC Flex Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Architect (DV, NPPV3) to join a high-profile programme delivering secure, resilient solutions within a sensitive environment.

Your responsibilities as the Security Architect:

• Design, develop and maintain secure architecture solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Ensure security best practices are Embedded across the full life cycle of systems and services.
• Work closely with stakeholders, technical teams and delivery leads to integrate security into all project phases.
• Deliver security assurance, risk assessments, and threat modelling exercises.
• Provide expert guidance on security frameworks, standards, and compliance obligations.
• Support accreditation activities and ensure adherence to government security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess and mitigate risks.

As a successful Security Architect, you will have:

• Active DV and NPPV3 clearance (essential).
• Proven experience working as a Security Architect) within secure or government environments.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NCSC guidance, and government standards.
• Experience designing secure architectures across cloud, infrastructure, and application layers.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and security reviews.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
