Senior Java Developer Contract Dublin 6-18 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join their group on a contract basis.

My client is looking for a full stack Java engineer. You will be able to demonstrate experience designing, developing, and testing real-world, enterprise applications. You must have experience using SVN, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar as well JavaScript tools such as NodeJS, NPM, Jasmine, Karma. You will have experience in performance tuning and code optimisation. You will have experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices. You must have hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design, and testing. You must have experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.
You will also have experience developing and consuming web services using SOAP or REST.

It will be an advantage if you have relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modelling concepts. As well as an solid understanding of Javascript functional programming concepts, object-oriented techniques, and modern Front End web development standards and best-practices. If you have Web UI development would be desired. Working experience with UI technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS would be desired.
