About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive humanities department and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world, in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Encourage curiosity about global, environmental, and social issues
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has strong subject knowledge in Geography
Experience teaching within a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
