Do you have experience with Electronics as a hobby or have worked previously as an Electronic Assembler?
We’re presently supporting several businesses in the local area in their search for the engineers of the future. We’ve several positions for Trainee Electronic Assemblers, working across various locations, building a range of different items and each with a different level of skill required.
This could be an opportunity for those employed currently to improve their income, working conditions or generally develop, or a chance to turn a hobby into an income.
These Trainee Electronic Assembler position offers full-time, permanent work, excellent training, and long-term career prospects. No prior employment experience is needed, although applicants must be able to demonstrate they’ve at least a hobby with some relevant skills (dexterity, using hand tools, IT / PC building, model making etc). We’ve previously placed candidates from Retail, Catering, and Production backgrounds into this role. If you enjoy tinkering this could be the perfect fit.
As a Trainee Electronic Assembler, you will benefit from:
Permanent contract with long-term career prospects
Overtime paid at premium rates

Monday to Friday hours within core day shifts
These Trainee Electronic Assembly roles could include:
Building and testing bespoke and stock products to a range of different standards
Working on an array of items from cables for missiles, valves for space rockets or circuit boards used in battleships
Using various techniques to solder / build the items to tight tolerances
Using test equipment to ensure functionality
Following workflow instructions and learning to read technical drawings
Your experience COULD include:
Confidence using hand and power tools – from a college or Uni course?
Interest in computers or technology – maybe you’ve built gaming PCs?
Being a model maker, maybe Warhammer or Airfix (great at reading instructions and working with tiny components)
Having worked previously within an electrical or mechanical background but wanting to upskill.
