An established international main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, technically complex projects is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a flagship data centre development in Mainland Europe on a permanent basis.

The Role:
As Electrical Construction Manager, you will take ownership of all electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities on a state-of-the-art data centre project. Working closely with the project leadership team, you will ensure that all electrical systems are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee all electrical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and health and safety requirements.
* Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of systems.
* Lead and manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
* Work collaboratively with civil, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Monitor project progress, resources, and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and design changes, identifying opportunities for improvement and value engineering.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks to maintain project standards.
* Drive a culture of safety, quality, and high performance across the project team.
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise delays and disruptions.
Requirements
* Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar electrical construction management role.
* Previous experience on data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of LV and MV systems, UPS, generators, lighting, and power distribution.
* Proven track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
