About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, highly organised Patient Coordinator to join our leading fertility clinic on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring patients receive a seamless, supportive experience throughout their fertility journey. You will act as a key point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, providing administrative support, and delivering exceptional customer service in a sensitive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in person
Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient clinic scheduling
Guide patients through their treatment journey, providing clear information and support
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with GDPR and clinic policies
Liaise with clinical teams (doctors, nurses, embryologists) to ensure smooth patient flow
Handle patient enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
Support billing, invoicing, and payment processes where required
Assist with administrative tasks including document preparation and data entry
Ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery are consistently maintainedKey Requirements
Previous experience in a patient-facing or customer service role (healthcare experience desirable)
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management systems (or similar CRM systems)
Flexible approach to working hoursDesirable Experience
Experience within a fertility, healthcare, or clinical setting
Knowledge of fertility treatments and patient pathways
Experience handling confidential medical informationCompliance Requirements
