Shift Pattern: Mon - Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8pm - 3:30pm
Looking for an Electronics Technician to join the Electronics, Controls and Instrumentation team (EC&I), providing technical and calibration support at a state-of-the-art Test & Development facility for a global automotive company based in Peterborough.
This team’s primary responsibility is the calibration and maintenance of the test facility measurement instrumentation and control systems to ensures quality data output is maintained and to assist automotive development and verification. The team is additionally responsible for the upgrade and commissioning of a multi-million-pound automotive test facility with world-class performance, emissions, and mechanical validation capabilities.
Requirements:
Apprenticeship with an electrical/electronic bias or equivalent industry experience within the electrical/electronic field.
Problem-solving ability (Six Sigma tools, troubleshooting methods, etc.).
Electronics and precision instrumentation knowledge.
Understanding of wiring regulations and technical documentation (cable selection, standards, etc.)
