Mechanical Contract Manager
Nottingham | £75,000 - £85,000 + Package
We're currently representing a well-established and highly respected Building Services contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager to support its continued growth across the East Midlands.
With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality M&E projects across the commercial, industrial, healthcare and education sectors, this business has built a loyal client base and continues to secure repeat work across the region.
The Opportunity
This is a key appointment within the business and will suit a Mechanical Contract Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, managing client relationships and driving successful project delivery.
You will work closely with operational and commercial teams, overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Managing multiple mechanical projects across various sectors
Leading project delivery teams and coordinating subcontractors
Maintaining programme, quality and commercial objectives
Building and developing client and consultant relationships
Managing procurement and labour resources
Monitoring project performance and identifying potential risks
Overseeing commissioning, snagging and project handover activities
Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are maintained throughout
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager
Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and mechanical systems
Previous experience delivering projects for an M&E contractor
Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
Confident managing clients, site teams and subcontractors
Able to drive projects through to successful completion
Package
