Your Role:

You will be supporting maintenance teams by delivering equipment and assisting on-site activities using vehicles and tools safely.
*
You will be assisting engineers as a second person on tasks, helping assess jobs and set up equipment when required.
*
You will be loading, unloading and handling high-level access equipment and materials in line with safe working practices.
*
You will be carrying out general maintenance and cleaning tasks across the Garrisons including waste management and minor repairs.
*
You will be supporting specialised services such as gutter and window cleaning using appropriate equipment at height.
*
You will be maintaining strict compliance with health and safety policies, promoting safe working practices and reporting issues.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
Experience: You will have a proven track record of working safely, following procedures, and prioritising tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail and working independently.
Skills: You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach, good organisational ability, and the physical capability to undertake manual handling and work at height safely.
Experience & Knowledge:
Proven ability to work within safe systems of work and follow health and safety procedures.
Ability to prioritise tasks, work proactively and independently, and apply strong attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with a disciplined and initiative-driven approach.
Desirable:
Towing licence.
Qualifications for mechanical elevated work platforms or tower systems.
Manual handling and loading/unloading certifications.
Experience working within a military environment or with trailers and equipment handling.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work as part of a team and build effective working relationships.
Proactive, can-do attitude with a high level of fitness.
Customer-focused approach with commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and best practices.
