SEN Teacher - Specialist Provisions

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to work within specialist provisions across the Chorley area and surrounding locations.
This is a full-time opportunity supporting students with a range of additional needs within specialist educational settings. The successful candidate must be adaptable, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential.
Role Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
Supporting students with SEND and SEMH additional needs
Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Managing behaviour effectively and promoting emotional regulation
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals
Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching within specialist provisions
Able to travel across Chorley and surrounding areas
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
Minimum 24 months employment references
Strong behaviour management and adaptability skills
