CNC Miller / CNC Turner / Machine Operator - Permanent Role - Chesterfield

Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 CNC Millers, CNC Turners and Machine Operators on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Turner or Machine Operator looking for a permanent position with a successful company offering long-term career prospects, overtime and training.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating 3-shift pattern:

* 6:00am - 2:30pm

* 2:00pm - 10:30pm

* 10:00pm - 6:30am

Duties:

* Operating milling, turning and cutting machinery

* Carrying out general machining duties

* Basic machinery maintenance

* General housekeeping within the machine shop

* Operating lifting equipment including cranes, magnets and slinging equipment

* Working safely and adhering to health and safety procedures

* Supporting production and manufacturing operations

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Turner, Machine Operator, Machinist or Manufacturing Operative

* Experience within engineering, manufacturing, foundry or heavy industry environments would be advantageous

* Good mechanical aptitude

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Ability to work a rotating shift pattern

* Keen to learn and develop new skills
