Key Responsibilities

* Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts related to offshore wind testing and termination activities, including testing services agreements, installation and commissioning contracts, marine and vessel charters, termination and decommissioning agreements, framework agreements, NDAs, and variations.

* Lead contract negotiations with OEMs, marine contractors, testing service providers, ports, and logistics suppliers.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks specific to offshore wind projects, including weather risk, interface risk, delay and downtime, force majeure, termination rights, and liability allocation.

* Ensure contracts appropriately address health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, offshore working regulations, and marine insurance provisions.

* Support contract termination, suspension, and close-out activities, including final accounts, claims management, and dispute resolution.

* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, permits, and industry standards governing offshore wind testing and termination activities.

* Manage the contract lifecycle from pre-award strategy and negotiation through execution, amendments, termination, and post-termination obligations.

* Maintain contract records and monitor key milestones, testing deliverables, warranties, liquidated damages, and performance guarantees.

* Collaborate with project, engineering, and legal teams to align contract terms with technical scopes of work and project risk profiles.

* Develop and maintain contract templates, testing and termination clauses, and negotiation playbooks specific to offshore wind projects.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline; legal or commercial qualifications are an advantage.

* 5+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts within offshore wind, renewables, offshore oil & gas, or marine infrastructure sectors.

* Strong understanding of offshore construction and marine contracting models (e.g., EPC, EPCI, lump sum, day-rate, framework agreements), will be an advantage, but not essential

* Experience with risk allocation for offshore operations, including weather downtime, vessel availability, defects liability, and termination for convenience or cause.

* Familiarity with international contracting standards and industry forms (e.g., LOGIC, BIMCO, FIDIC where applicable).

* Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and drafting skills
