Our client, a leading design and build provider in the water sector, is currently seeking an HRIS Specialist to join their HR team based in Hattersley, with hybrid working options available. This is a permanent position in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with the IT team for resolution.
Ensure HR business processes are current and functioning optimally.
Analyse and interpret large data sets.
Produce HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making.
Lead the implementation of system enhancements across multiple HR systems.
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
Manage system testing for HR and ensure functionality after ERP system updates.
Assess the effectiveness of HR systems and develop business cases for project proposals.
Provide training and support to HR staff on system usage and best practices.
Establish and maintain robust systems and data privacy controls, and support HR audits.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HR technologies.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
Experience with ERP system upgrades and implementation projects.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in HRIS and ERP software (e.g., IFS, Cornerstone, Eploy, HandsHQ).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
