Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a supportive school on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
* Create and maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
* Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and individual pupil support plans
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within UK primary schools
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering high-quality teaching
* Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one prior to starting
