Tech Connect Group are seeking a motivated & reliable Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer, based in Hinckley. This is a key position within the Quality team, responsible for the delivery of quality manufactured product.

This is an onsite role, 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am-12:30pm Fridays.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain and update all quality standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure they meet internal company benchmarks as well as all relevant industry requirements.
Manage internal and external audit participation and oversee equipment calibration.
Oversee daily KPIs and reporting, while actively supporting the shop floor to improve Right-First-Time RFT metrics and reduce scrap.
Lead the quality integration for new projects by performing technical gap analyses, developing standards through APQP/PPAP processes, and managing First Article Inspections.
Serve as the primary quality liaison for customers and vendors, ensuring robust RCCA are implemented for all quality issues and verifying that external suppliers strictly adhere to company standards.
Leverage strong analytical and project management skills to interpret complex business and customer needs, translating them into operational requirements to drive continuous improvement and maintain quality standards.
Key Skills & Experience:

First Article Report, Green Belt Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP , Auditor AS9100D
Ability to understand customer and international specifications
Willingness to take responsibility for the quality of personal work produced.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude within your team at all times
Understanding of quality control processes and adherence to industry standards
