Job Title: Project Manager
Contract Length: 12 Month temporary contract
Working Pattern: Full Time (part time considered), £23.11 per hour PAYE
Location: Hybrid working (up to one day per week on site in Birmingham)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to support the delivery of various innovation and improvement projects. As part of a collaborative matrix model, you will report to senior colleagues while working closely with the Senior Project Manager and Portfolio Manager. Your role will involve managing project activities that may vary in scope, duration, and complexity, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project management support for the implementation of innovations and improvement initiatives across various stages of the programme pipeline.
Utilise approved tools and methodologies to develop and deliver implementation plans while ensuring excellence in innovation activity.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement through presentations, workshops, and meetings to promote understanding and collaboration.
Analyse complex data to monitor project performance and guide decision-making.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring all reporting requirements are met in line with organisational standards.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures.Key Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant degree or equivalent experience; postgraduate project management qualification is desirable.
Proven experience in managing healthcare projects from initiation to implementation.
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and sectors.
Proficient in data analysis and familiar with project management tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Commitment to continuous professional development and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
