Endpoint Security Architect (EDR) - Contract
Rate: £525 per day outside IR35
Contract Length: 9-12 months (initial 3-month rolling contracts)
Location: Fully Remote UK
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a large-scale transformation programme, focusing on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) strategy, vendor assessment, and discovery activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with a strong architectural background to help shape and drive EDR capabilities within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead EDR strategy, discovery, and architecture initiatives.
- Assess and evaluate the current vendor landscape and provide recommendations.
- Define target-state security architecture and roadmap for endpoint protection.
- Engage with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align security objectives.
- Support vendor selection, proof-of-concept activities, and technology assessments.
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices across endpoint security solutions.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Security Architect, Enterprise Security Architect, or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of the following platforms:
- Experience conducting vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and strategic discovery engagements.
- Microsoft Defender
- Trend Micro
- CrowdStrike
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within the Telecommunications sector.
- Experience working on large-scale security transformation programmes.
